4th Half Yearly National Convention, (Coimbatore, Tamilnadu) - Inauguration Session
Sathiyo, First I want to explain the reasons as to why we planned to organize this 4th Half Yearly National Convention in Coimbatore in Tamilnadu. Our senior IAS officer Mr. Christodas Gandhi remarked earlier in his speech that some of our problems must be solved by resorting to agitation. I have some reservation against such type of agitations. I am not in favour of local agitation. I am not in favour of territorial agitation. I am also not in favour of a state wide agitation. I am in favour of a Nation Wide Agitation. I believe that the crux of our problems will only be solved by removing this vyavastha (system) of Varna, Caste, Untouchability, Segregation of Tribals, Enslavement of Women etc. All these problems are not local problems or territorial problem or state level problems. These are National Problems and to remove these problems there should be a Nation Wide Agitation. But the precondition of a Nation Wide Agitation is a Nation Wide Organisation. We cannot have a nation wide movement if we do not have a nationwide organization. So we think that this is the precondition, prerequisite or the foremost condition before going forward in launching a nation wide agitation. We have already strengthened our network in North East India, North West India and Central India and we are continuing this process in South India. There are 92 districts in South India. We have our contacts in 45-60 districts. In 2009 we shall cover all these districts. We have a special strategy to do this. We had organized a first half yearly national convention in 2005 in Secunderabad. In 2006 we organized the second half yearly national convention in Gulbarga in Karnataka.
In 2007 we organized the third half yearly national convention again in Secunderabad. Now in 2008 we are organizing the 4th Half Yearly National Convention in Coimbatore in Tamilnadu. We have done extensive field work in this direction. We have got excellent response from TamilNadu and Kerala. I got this information that the Scheduled Castes in Tamilnadu say that the OBC’s are the real oppressors. What is the situation in Tamil Nadu? There is bipolar politics in Tamil Nadu. The bipolar politics of Tamilnadu is dominated by two OBC based parties i.e. The DMK and the AIADMK. AIADMK has split out of DMK. MGR formed this organization i.e. AIADMK. Periyar’s movement was non-political. Anna Durai was associated with political activities. In Vidhan Sabha elections either DMK or AIADMK is elected. This is OBC oriented politics. We need to understand and comprehend this situation thoroughly.
Congress has been marginalized in Tamil Nadu. Who were the people responsible for marginalizing the Congress Party in Tamil Nadu. Other Backward Classes marginalized the Congress Party in Tamil Nadu. Periyar wanted to drown the Congress Party in the sea. He said, “I will drown this Brahminnical Congress in the sea”. Congress is the number 1 Brahminnical party absolutely dominated by Brahmins. Taking advantage of the political situation in Tamil Nadu Congress has systematically imbibed and inculcated in the minds of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes of Tamil Nadu that the OBC’s are their principal enemy. We must realize this fact first that the Congress party is the number one Brahminnical party. The SC/STs are not with DMK or AIADMK. Though Congress is a marginalized party in Tamil Nadu it plays a major role in Tamil nadu politics. Congress has some balance votes. A substantial number of votes of Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled tribes are with the congress party which has systematically projected the OBC’s as the principal enemy of the SC/STs. On the support of the substantial number of votes congress gains power and strengthens itself. The Congress then bargains with the DMK or the AIADMK saying that if they want their CM in TN they must give support at the Centre. The intellectual class among the SC/STs does not realize this fact. Only Brahminism is strengthened with such politics. 350 Members of Parliament belong to the three National but Brahminnical parties, the Congress, the BJP and the Communists.
The 4 pillars of democracy viz. the Parliament, the Executive, the Judiciary and the Press are absolutely controlled and dominated by the Brahmins. Brahmins have exclusive monopoly and control over these democratic institutions of India. Does the intellectual class among the SC/STs know this fact? Do they realize this fact? The national budget amounts to 7 lakh 50 thousand crores approximately. Our enemy allocates money but will not spend this money. Allocation and Expenditure are two different things. The financial budget is not planned or chalked out by the OBC’s. The financial institutions of India and other similar institutions are in the hands of Brahmins and not OBC’s. Congress will fall on its face at the centre if these parties withdraw their support. OBC’s are also the victims of Brahminnical policies. Even the OBC leadership is a victim of Brahminnical policies. Actually congress should have been wiped out of Tamil nadu because of the anti-brahmin politics of Tamil nadu. It has not been wiped out but it is a marginalized party. The SC/STs can bargain with their votes with the OBC parties. Brotherhood can be promoted on the basis of bargaining.
For Tamilnadu I want to say that brotherhood cannot be developed only on the basis of ideology. I want to emphasize this point that Brotherhood in Tamilnadu cannot be developed on the basis of ideology. But Political bargaining can be used to promote brotherhood. We need to increase our own strength in Tamil nadu. SC/STs must build their own strength first. All our strategies that we have applied elsewhere in the country can be applied here in Tamilnadu with few improvements. The strategy has not to be drastically changed. These things will be explained in a more realistic way in the coming time. We shall provide more information on this. Politics is not such a simple thing that it can be understood by everybody. If everybody would have understood politics, everybody would have been a King! Thank you.
